About

Hi! I’m Erin.

I’m a Christian Canadian mom and farmer’s wife. I have been a nurse since 2019, but have been away from the hospital since 2022 when my first son was born. My daughter was born 13.5 months later.

While I haven’t given up the idea of being a nurse, in this season I want to be at home with my kids as much as possible, raising them myself and caring for our home. This new season of being home full-time has been a huge adjustment for me, as I am a naturally busy and productive person who loves to squeeze the most out of the time that I have.

What to expect from my blog:

I have slowly been adding to my routine and lifestyle to allow me to channel my energy into ways that serve my home, family, and community. I’ve jumped into various aspects of homemaking, trying and failing my way forward. Over the past 2 years, I’ve experimented with everything from cloth diapering, breadmaking, and gardening, while trying to keep my home running smoothly and care for my children well. I love to try and share new recipes, clean and organize, price match and thrift.

Going forward I plan to try getting some chickens this year and learn to can more food out of my garden. I hope to keep exploring more of the homemaking and homesteading world, have some more babies, and see what else may be in store!

I hope you’ll join me for the journey!
